I think most of them fall within a range of 1910-1920. The French changed over to divided backs in 1907. I also know that the font style of Carte Postale and the color of the paper can provide a more precise date. Let me know if you have a good source for guidelines.Christinehttp://postcardparadise.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3323012003780250968.post-6424513984965976972009-12-01T10:18:01.167-08:002009-12-01T10:18:01.167-08:00Both the guy on the bike and the people in the car...Both the guy on the bike and the people in the cart appear to be looking at the car. Perhaps if both motorized and horse-drawn vehicles are on the street, cars were still novelties.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3323012003780250968.post-66638212081948592752009-12-01T10:11:33.659-08:002009-12-01T10:11:33.659-08:00Are you familiar with guidelines to date vintage E...Are you familiar with guidelines to date vintage European cards?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
