Nice, France

The top postcard may be more colorful, but I love the human element in the second one. These are circa 1910.

  1. Hi Christine,

Thank you for stopping by. You are most welcome anytime. Nice is one of my favorite places and your postcards are lovely.

Wouldn't it have been amazing to walk the Promenade back them?

    hugs,

  2. That must be the Hotel Negresco in the backround of the top card. The statue is still there, but the Palais de la Jetee sure isn't. It seems to have been a popular subject for postcards, though. I wonder what was in it.

  3. You're right, it is the Hotel Negresco. As for the Palais de la Jetee, I always assumed it was a casino. What do you think?
