Christine, you have superlative 'deciphering' powers! I couldn't make out the writing past 'market.' Which reminds me, I have a couple of things I was going to ask your help in translating from French...:)
I love antique postcards because they preserve evidence of everyday life as well as celebrations and sad events. Looking at an old postcard is like holding a single piece of a puzzle; we have to imagine the rest.
I will try to put up a postcard every day. If you have a special request for a particular city or place, let me know!
Wow! 1921 - that is amazing. Beautiful photo too.
ReplyDeleteI love Forget me nots, I have them all over my garden.
Beautiful, I love to see what they wear.
ReplyDeleteI love the postcard you send me, especially the story behind :)
Very delightful Christine! I can just picture those Forget me nots in the stand!
