I know raspberries are in season here, because I've been picking them off of my neighbor's bushes. They aren't giant in size, but they certainly are in flavor.
If you really want a giant raspberry flavor you may have to go to Paris and try one of these. It's called Ispahan.
Those look delicious!
ReplyDeleteI love Raspberries! The postcards are great, especially the first one of giant berries.
ReplyDeleteYou are killing me here.......(can you pick enough raspberries to make jam?)
ReplyDeleteI daren’t show this to my husband; he adores raspberries and the idea of giant ones would be too much.
ReplyDeleteThose macaroons look delicious but I know they'd just squirt raspberry juice all over my shirt
ReplyDeleteDoes your neighbor read this blog? Now you cannot blame the birds anymore ...
ReplyDeleteI dunno, those berries on the train are so giant they sorta remind me of a 60's sci-fi flick where aliens with jumbo brain-like heads are taking over the world, think I'll stick with the pastries...
ReplyDeleteI KNOW if I owned that raspberry postcard I would frame it! I love raspberries and the postcard is awesome!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
The raspberries on the flatcar look more appealing to me than the Paris concoction.
ReplyDeleteLovely postcard and the pastries look delicious!
ReplyDeleteRob, I think the neighbor knows. He invited me to help myself last year and I assumed that meant for this year too :)
ReplyDeletePamela, I think I need t take a little drive to get enough to make jam. I intend to do it though.
Postcardy, those pastries are very brightly colored, but so much more delicious than they look. I think I would take one of those over the flatcar load.
I've always been a big fan of E.H. Mitchell postcards. The giant fruit series is a lot of fun...trying to get all of them!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this great exaggeration card. Another winner!
