Yikes. That lemon makes me wonder about my own complexion and skin. I love the idea of big blackberries, but some things (like lemons) shouldn't be viewed from too close up. :p
That lemon reminds me of the ones growing on my mutant lemon tree they are as big as grapefruit. I have a collection of postcards that I don't know what to do with. I can send you some if you give me your address. How old is antique. I'm antique myself. My email is on my blog. This is a great idea for a blog.
Have I already mentioned how much I like exaggeration postcards? Nothing says, "We do it better," like a train car of really big fruit. Those blackberries lko mighty tasty.
I love antique postcards because they preserve evidence of everyday life as well as celebrations and sad events. Looking at an old postcard is like holding a single piece of a puzzle; we have to imagine the rest.
I will try to put up a postcard every day. If you have a special request for a particular city or place, let me know!
These are so surreal. Why am I drawn to those giant blackberries? I want to dive in - hold me back!
ReplyDeleteWow! Those are some big fruits! Very creative artwork!
ReplyDeleteBig fruit never gets old. The fill-in-the-blank captions are amusing, too!
ReplyDeleteOh bring them on, the bigger and the more all the better to enjoy! Great postcards!

ReplyDeleteHaving a giant lemon or pile of berries in the yard would make it smell pretty nice- for a while...
ReplyDeleteI have just stumbled across your blog, and got lost in it for a while! Love the giant lemon :-) imagine how much lemonade could be made from it!
