Bonne Année from Les Enfants

Check out these fancy spats! These children are all dressed up to wish you a Happy New Year.

Here's the back of the second card, written from Yvonne to her Godfather to wish him a Happy New Year.

  1. Love these! Do you travel to France to buy all the beautiful French postcards?

  2. Great series. I'm glad I'm not having to walk in those spats!

  3. Great cards - fabulous way to start the new year.

  4. I never would have guessed that a poodle and Bigfoot could produce offspring, but the third card proves it! Don't think I have ever seen spats this long before, guess I would call them gaiters, quite amusing seeing them worn with shorts on the first card. Cute bunch of kids though, even if they have a penchant for breaking branches off trees...

  5. Anonymous,
    You are too funny.

    No, I don't, but that's a darn good idea!

  6. I can't imagine how rich you have for your vintage postcards collection.
Thank you for sharing it with us almost all the days of 365.

  7. How sweet are those cards! I have so enjoyed all your posts, and appreciate the effort you put in sharing your treasures with us all year long. I always look forward to hanging out here a few minutes several times a week.

Wishing you a joy-filled new year.

  8. Poodle and Bigfoot.....thank you for the good chuckle and so sweet to start the year with a French touch:)
