Cards for Lulu Woodin

These cards appear to have been given to Lulu Woodin on the same day one week apart in July of 1898. I thought at first that they might have been given out by a Sunday school teacher, but the dates are both Fridays. Still, maybe it was some kind of summer instruction?

    I was thinking that they were strange for July too. I wonder what caused the image to show on the back.

    Maybe acid in the inks caused the bleed-through. I really like the bird postcard. That's been one of my new topics to go after in my postcard collecting. Thanks for the post!

    Sehr hübsch, genau wie die alte Ansicht aus Marseille. Diese Stadt hat man mitlerweile richtig kaputt gemacht. Hübsch ist da nicht mehr viel
