This card, sent in 1917 to Edith in Edinburgh, Scotland, reads:
My Dear wee Edith,
This is the P.C. I promised you. Tell ma, and my two wee sisters I received their letters alright and was glad to get them. Katie arrived safe and sound. Love to all.
Nettie
What a sweet card! I wonder what happened to wee Edith? She could possible be alive today . . .
ReplyDeleteAlso, the Dallas transport cards were great - I'm with you on the small airport. What a shame DFW is nothing like that today.
May I include this postcard in the October Quadrupeds Festival?
