Ken Burns' television series on the U.S. National Parks inspired me to post a few Yellowstone cards. The second picture is from a Wyoming postcard folder. A beautiful setting and even a table cloth for elegant dining in the great outdoors.

ReplyDeleteoops, I think you meant Yellowstone, not Yosemite... These are really lovely colored cards. I think I like this style much more than today's full-color photo postcards. These impart such a nice dreamy or ethereal quality. Karin

ReplyDeleteYep, you're right. Doesn't look a bit like Yosemite. I like the color quality too, although it's best when there are people, buildings, cars etc. When it's just the nature shots, I prefer the modern photographs.
