Street Scene-Portland, Oregon


No message on this card, which shows Washington Street in downtown Portland, Oregon. Not sure what year, but it has to 1907 or later because that's when postcards started providing a section for correspondence on the back. Before that, only address information was allowed.

    How wonderful! My Grandmother used to work in the old downtown Portland hotel as a maid. I have one of the pictures she saved, that they were going to throw out. (grin)

    This is a wonderful wonderful card. My great great grandfather designed the lighting systems for the streets of old Downtown Portland.

    It is a very small world, isn't it?
