If you're feeling a little down, this girl should help put a smile on your face. Like the cards from last Saturday, I picked this one for the expression. In this case, I think it is pure joy.
The back of the card indicates the card is from 1907-1920

I don't know... I think maybe "bursting with mischief" is what I see!!! Nevertheless, it sure makes me smile. Karin
ReplyDeleteKarin, you do have a point there. Then again, who says pure joy and mischief can't co-exist. Or maybe that would make it not-quite-so-pure joy...
ReplyDeleteShe's not going to be able to contain herself for a moment after the photo is taken. What a pickle!
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable! Smile, light in her eyes, haircut, big bow -- every bit of her! And I love her little table. I think every descendant who searches for ancestors would love to have a photo like this of a female ancestor! I wish I knew what's given her the big smile and what will happen after the sitting is done. Thanks for sharing her with us today.
ReplyDeleteShe, surely, has some kind of secret! Or she's just holding in a great big giggle.
ReplyDeleteso cute. love her expression, the bow in her hair and the shoes!!
ReplyDeleteShe certainly looks like she's enjoying herself. It's almost as if the photographer told a funny joke, and she's trying to hold back a grand guffaw.
ReplyDeleteI would second (or third..) the motion for mischief... Might also be that the darn bow is so big that she is tensing her face muscles to keep her head from falling over!
ReplyDeleteShe is just about to bust a gut isn't she? The laugh is going to come out at full force any moment. Too bad the photographer didn't get that on film.
ReplyDeleteyup!! it works!! she made me smile!!
ReplyDelete:D~
HUGZ
I can't help but giggle every time I look at her:) I think she just broke wind! Have you been inundated with requests for a copy of her? A winner for sure.
